Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of education and/or experience in a skilled trade (e.g. carpentry, electrician, plumbing).
• Certification of completion of the Basic Corrections Training Course is required.
• Possession of a valid Maine driver’s license or bus license is required.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and supervises residents in building trades, construction, and agriculture.
• Maintains security, discipline and safety of the crew and residents.
• Plans and schedules work crews, assigns jobs, and tracks results.
• Represents training needs to treatment teams and assists in rehabilitative processes.
