Job summary

Minnesota Department of Corrections is seeking a Clinical Program Therapist 2 - Substance Use Disorder to provide specialized therapy in a correctional setting at Lino Lakes. You will manage all aspects of the program, including assessment, psycho-educational activities, and treatment planning, supporting incarcerated individuals.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or equivalent to provide alcohol and drug counseling.
• Two years of experience delivering behavioral health services, including individual and group therapy.
• Education substitutions: associate degree replaces 6 months, bachelor’s replaces 1 year, master’s replaces 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized therapeutic programming to clients in an alcohol and other drug treatment program.
• Oversee all aspects of program content including security, assessment/evaluation, psycho-educational programming, monitoring and reporting, teaching, training and professional standards.
• Work at Minnesota Correctional Facility - Lino Lakes with incarcerated individuals; develop and implement treatment plans and continuing care plans.
