Responsibilities
- Provides direct and indirect nursing care to inmate‑patients aged 18+ and older in the correctional setting.
- Demonstrates effective communication, respect and courtesy with patients and staff.
- Attends in‑services and continuing education to maintain required skills.
- Educates inmates, security officers and the health care team as needed.
- Attends in‑service meetings and educational programs as arranged by supervisor.
