Job summary

Responsibilities

• Acts as regional liaison to field in all aspects of inmate classification and operational issues.
• Attends and conducts staff meetings, collaborating with program supervisors and department managers to address reception center needs.
• Conducts audits of select classification staff to ensure adherence with Department of Corrections’ procedures. Supervises the implementation of procedures established by the department.
• Attends meetings with other departmental staff and provides assistance as it relates to the Classification & Records unit.
• Ensures the ACA classification standards are in compliance. Develops plan of action of any deficiencies.

This open competitive advertisement is for a SES (Selected Exempt Service) position located at the Region 1 office at Quincy Annex.

This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
