Allied Universal® is hiring a Correctional Security Officer Unarmed - Full Time in Columbia, SC. You will monitor, patrol, and support access control, delivering professional customer service and responding to security concerns.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Correctional Security Officer Unarmed - Full Timein Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.
