Qualifications

• Two (2) years of directly related experience (e.g., Law Enforcement, Facility Protection, Security, Dispatch, Corrections, Loss Prevention, Video Surveillance, Call Center).
• Must pass background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in RAP Back program per County HR policy.
• Must pass mandatory drug test before starting; subject to random alcohol and drug testing.
• Must obtain and maintain BCI certification.

Responsibilities

• Controls employee, prisoner, visitor, and volunteer access to secure doors and areas.
• Remotely monitors movement and coordinates emergency responses.
• Observes housing units and perimeters for security.
• Responds to alarms and assists in evacuations and lockdown protocols.
• Receives and dispatches information to perform callouts for units.
• Monitors recording equipment and radio traffic; prepares logs and reports.
