Job summary

The State of North Carolina - Adult Correction seeks a School Psychologist at Granville Correctional Institution to support students pursuing high school equivalency diplomas, with direct and indirect services for behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs.

Requirements include a Sixth-Year Advanced degree in School Psychology and a current NC Professional Educator’s License with School Psychology certification; work with a multidisciplinary team in a medium custody setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Sixth-Year Advanced degree in School Psychology.
• Current NC Professional Educator’s License with School Psychology certification.
• Experience applying IEPs and school-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychoeducational assessments and reports.
• Collaborate with staff on data-based interventions and progress monitoring.
• Consult with families and stakeholders on student needs.
• Participate in IEP development and review processes.
• Support instructional practices and behavioral supports.
