CoreCivic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Correctional facility in Whiteville, Tennessee. The role focuses on providing high-quality care in an institutional setting and supports inmates/residents with medical needs.

The position requires RN licensure, a nursing degree, and at least 18 years of age, with a preference for one year of nursing experience. The package includes 401k and comprehensive medical benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a degree/diploma in nursing.
• Must possess current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing skills in the area and treatment of inmates/residents.
• Attend sick calls with the physician and prepare lists and exam rooms.
• Examining and assessing inmates/residents and referring to ER or facilities as needed.
• Perform emergency procedures and notify the Licensed Independent Provider.
• Guide, supervise and monitor nursing care by licensed and non-licensed staff.
