Job summary

CoreCivic is seeking Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care in an institutional setting. The RN will apply nursing skills, assist physicians, and supervise nursing staff to ensure timely assessments and treatment for inmates/residents.

Qualified candidates hold an active TN RN license, possess a nursing degree, and have at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. Experience preferred; the role is full-time and paid hourly at $41.83–$53.79.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a degree/diploma in nursing.
• Must possess current RN licensure in the state of employment (TN).
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing skills in the area and treatment of inmates/residents.
• Attend sick calls with the physician to see inmates/residents; prepare lists and exam rooms.
• Examine and assess inmates/residents with illnesses or injuries; refer to ER or facilities as required.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed and notify provider for orders.
• Provide guidance and supervise nursing staff.
