Job summary

The Michigan Department of Corrections seeks a licensed psychologist to perform a full range of psychological evaluations, tests, interventions and referrals for prisoners, including those with severe mental disorders. You will train staff in matters of psychology and mental illness and work within a multi-disciplinary treatment team to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology required.
• Possession of a psychology license in Michigan (temporary to full).
• Experience levels: Psychologist 9/10/P11 with corresponding years of professional experience.

• Provide interventions and referral services as assigned.
• Train staff in psychology and mental illness matters.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary treatment team for prisoners, providing a full spectrum of psychological services.
