Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group seeks a dedicated Psychologist to join our correctional facility team. The role focuses on providing psychological care, conducting assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans for inmates.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, perform rounds, crisis interventions, and engage in consultations. A valid state license and correctional experience are highly desirable, with onsite employment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychologist with a valid state license.
• Proven experience in a clinical or correctional setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and counseling techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and examination of available records.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, mental health providers, and other healthcare professionals for integrated care.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing evaluation of patient needs.
• Perform rounds in housing areas to evaluate inmate adjustment and mental health needs.
• Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques to provide effective treatments.
• Conduct mental health assessments and crisis intervention strategies for inmates.
