You will plan and implement clinical psychology services, assess patients, and provide consultation to the care team to support high-quality mental health care in a challenging environment.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical Assessment: Conduct psychological screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and record reviews.
• Treatment Planning: Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on patient needs and functioning levels.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Confer with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to ensure integrated patient care follow-through.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide appropriate counseling and confrontation avoidance interventions for inmates in crisis.
• Facility Rounds: Conduct regular rounds in segregation or confined housing areas to assess mental health needs and adjustment.
• Staff Consultation: Consult with educational, chaplain, and security staff to gather information and provide clinical insights.
