The Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW) in Gig Harbor, WA seeks a Physician 3 for a full-time, non-permanent role. The position requires providing primary care within a correctional health setting, with on-site duties and daily patient contact during a day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday).

Experience in correctional health, ability to coordinate with offsite and onsite specialty services, and commitment to high-quality patient care are essential.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient services
• Primary care provider – manage caseload assigned to include daily rounding on IPU patients or others as assigned
• Ensure delivery of quality medical services for all patients
• Provide consults on higher acuity patients
• Coordinate care with other providers
• Order appropriate lab tests
• Counsel and instruct patients on self-care
• Participate in Health Services Quality Improvement activities as appropriate
