Job summary

Centurion Health is actively seeking a Full-time Medication Room Assistant for Pontiac CC in Pontiac, Illinois. Under supervision, you will organize medication storage and distribution areas and assist in obtaining medications from an off-site pharmacy, as well as helping return unused medications.

The role operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 year of correctional health care or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year correctional health care or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be well organized, communicate effectively, and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Organize medication storage and distribution areas.
• Assist in procurement of ordered medications from an off-site pharmacy.

• Under supervision of the designated manager and clinical leadership.
