NaphCare, Inc. is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Tucson, AZ, where we manage healthcare for inmates in the Arizona Department of Corrections – Tucson facility. Full Time and Part Time positions may be available.

You will assist licensed pharmacists to provide medications and healthcare products to residents, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacy Technician certificate/license in State.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
• Purchasing knowledge with admin training preferred.
• Brand-to-generic knowledge common in pharmacy.
• Active BLS CPR certification required.
• Attention to confidentiality and patient safety.
• Integrity and professionalism; comply with conduct policies.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists in providing medications and healthcare products to inmates.
• Prepare medications, maintain inventory, and document accurately.
• Follow strict security protocols in a correctional setting.
• Communicate with pharmacists, nurses, and staff regarding orders.
• Provide basic medication information to patients and ensure proper usage.
• Participate in quality assurance and adherence to policies.
