Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to work any shift and various posts including armory, housing, kitchen, medical, visitation.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to complete required training.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide security, care and direct supervision of inmates/residents in housing units, meals, recreation and all other activity in a correctional facility.
• May employ weapons or force to maintain discipline and order as needed.
