The South Carolina Department of Corrections seeks a dedicated individual to conduct drug testing and maintain inventory. This full-time role involves training officers and ensuring compliance with agency policies. Applicants must have a high school diploma and a valid driver's license. Under the direct supervision of the inmate drug testing Sergeant, the incumbent will conduct random and targeted drug testing for the South Carolina Department of Corrections in accordance with the agency's drug testing policy.
Responsibilities include updating drug test results into the SCDC Mainframe system through CRT entry, maintaining drug testing supply inventory, and distributing supply orders as directed. The role also involves training and certifying Institutional drug testing officers.
Performs other security-related duties as required.
The incumbent will travel daily to various institutions and assigned sites throughout the state.

SCDC Minimum Requirements:
Certification as a Drug Testing Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of starting the position.
