Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary education in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Defensive Tactics (DT) training and CPR certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine security and health inspections, detecting contraband and hazards.
• Supervise inmates and housing area activities, establishing a positive supervisory relationship.
• Prepare reports and written materials; maintain attendance and readiness for overtime or emergencies.
• Interact professionally with staff and inmates, enforcing rules and safety protocols.
