The Correctional Officer I maintains safety and security in CDOC facilities, supporting inmate preparation for community reentry. Responsibilities include inmate supervision, facility monitoring, security checks, inmate transport, and emergency response.
Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, be eligible to work in the U.S., have no felony convictions, and pass background and health screenings. Successful completion of basic training and physical requirements is mandatory.
