Mansfield Correctional, part of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, is seeking a registered nurse for a permanent, full-time position at 1150 North Main Street, Mansfield, OH 44905. The role involves medication administration, patient assessments, and collaboration with medical staff in a correctional setting.

Starting pay is approximately $36.01 per hour. Ohio participates in the Nurse Licensure Compact.

Qualificações

• Requires current licensure as registered professional nurse in the state of Ohio as issued by the Board of Nursing per Ohio Revised Code §4723.03.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medication (oral, intramuscular, intravenous) and monitors medication compliance.
• Performs treatments and assists with nurse’s sick call.
• Assists with doctor’s sick call and chronic care clinic management.
• Responds to emergencies and provides CPR.
• Performs nursing assessments and records vital signs.
• Prepares patients for release or transfer and coordinates with pharmacy services.
• Provides training and orientation to new staff and oversees care during shifts.
