Position Details

• Location: Polk County Detention Center
• Open Position: Part-Time LPN or RN
• Schedule: Every Other Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10-hour Day shifts
• Sign-on & Retention Bonus available

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider directives
• Administer prescribed medications according to nursing standards & correctional regulations
• Follow established treatment plans
• Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and critical thinking
