Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Providing patient care, evaluating symptoms, reactions, and progress, charting results, and establishing nursing plans within State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, in collaboration with physicians/providers.
2. Administering prescribed medications according to nursing standards and correctional regulations.
3. Following through with established treatment plans.
4. Performing emergency interventions, physical assessments, and applying critical thinking skills.
