Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support the Arizona Department of Corrections – Yuma in a correctional health setting. The role involves patient assessments, medication administration, and coordinated care in a controlled environment.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff and hourly pay ranging from $32.00 to $34.00 depending on shift and experience. Part-time positions may be available; training will be provided for new grads.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Active state license as LPN/LVN.
• BLS CPR certification required (AHA).
• Ability to interact with diverse patient populations.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow facility policies.
• Pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and take health histories.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Provide wound care and administer medications.
• Document in electronic health records (TechCare).
• Respond to emergencies and educate patients.

Education

Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program

High school diploma or equivalent

Actively state certified as Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

BLS CPR Certification (AHA)
