Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our Illinois team at Lawrence Correctional Center. The QMHP will provide mental health care in a correctional setting, including intake, assessments, crisis intervention, and therapy.

Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8:00am–4:00pm. The role works with a multi-disciplinary team and requires licensure in Illinois. Centurion offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Active Illinois license LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LSW.
• TB documentation and CPR/AED certification current.
• Two years’ direct care experience with mental illness preferred.
• Background check and security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake and comprehensive mental health assessments.
• Deliver crisis intervention and treatment planning.
• Consult with a multi-disciplinary team and coordinate case management.
• Provide individual and group therapy to patients in a correctional setting.
• Follow Centurion policies, IDOC directives and SOPs.
