Qualified candidates will hold an Illinois RN license and CPR/BLS, possess strong clinical assessment and communication skills, and be prepared to work within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Correctional healthcare experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients and responding to healthcare needs.
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
• Performing nursing assessments and documenting patient care.
• Responding to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Assisting providers with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Providing patient education and promoting continuity of care.
• Managing chronic and acute medical conditions within nursing scope.
• Coordinating care with providers and healthcare team.
• Maintaining accurate medical documentation.
• Following clinical, safety, and security procedures.
• Performing additional nursing duties as assigned.
