Job summary

TK Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Correctional Med Surg at Adams County Jail in Quincy, Illinois. This is a full-time day-shift RN position with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends.

As part of TK Health's new partnership, you will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor patient health, document accurately, and collaborate with the healthcare team while complying with security requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Must successfully complete required background and security clearance.
• Correctional healthcare experience not required; diverse nursing backgrounds encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assessing and monitoring patient health needs.
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
• Responding to medical needs and emergencies.
• Maintaining accurate medical documentation.
• Coordinating care with providers and the healthcare team.
• Following established clinical policies and procedures.
