Job summary

BOS Medical Staffing is seeking a full-time LPN with corrections experience to work in a Lawrenceville, GA facility. Shifts are 7pm-7am on a rotating schedule, averaging 36/48 hours with weekends included. Join a team focused on patient care in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vitals, and maintaining chart accuracy. Candidates must pass background checks and drug screens; BLS CPR is required, and Sapphire charting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered nursing license in Georgia.
• At least 1 year of correctional nursing experience.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Basic computer skills for charting.

Estimated Hours: 36/48 (Full rotation; including rotating weekends) Shifts: 7p-7a

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of on site HSA, Mid Level Provider, Physician, or the administrative supervision of the HSC
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical conditions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered nursing license in the state of Georgia
• At least 1 year correctional experience required
• BLS CPR Certification
• Basic computer skills for charting
• Experience using Sapphire for charting preferred
• Ability to work as part of team and multi-task
• Fast-paced correctional settings with exposure to a variety of patient populations
• Requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Physical demands include standing, walking, and assisting with patient mobility
• Candidates must pass a criminal background check including an FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Check and Pre-employment drug screen
