Job summary

California Correctional Health Care Services in Corcoran, CA, is seeking a part-time Correctional Supervising Cook, CF to supervise staff and incarcerated workers preparing meals for patients in a correctional health care facility. This role will ensure adherence to diet orders and institutional policies while maintaining security and order within the kitchen.

You will work under the direction of the Food Administrator I/II and oversee sanitation, safety, and compliance with food service manuals

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train staff and incarcerated workers responsible for preparing meals for patients in a correctional health care facility.
• Oversee the preparation and dispensing of therapeutic diets per physician orders.
• Ensure staff and incarcerated workers follow all departmental and institutional policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, and protect the safety of persons and property.
