Reporting to the Associate Warden of Custody & Operations, this position is responsible for first line supervision of Correctional Housing Unit Manager I’s at a medium custody male correctional facility. Responsibilities include:
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with benefits, working hours from Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with possible overtime.
Effective January 1, 2025, the salary range is $37,782 - $66,120.
Salary grade: NC08. State employees are encouraged to apply, and salary may be adjusted based on experience and internal equity. The facility, Warren Correctional Institution, houses approximately 725 male offenders and provides offender labor for off-site operations.
Applicants must document experience with report writing, knowledge of case management/supportive counseling/interviewing, and knowledge of prison policies and procedures. Education and experience requirements include:
Must be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.
