Reporting to a Correctional Housing Unit Manager II at a multi-custody female correctional facility, this position assists in managing and operating an institutional housing unit. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Effective January 1, 2025, salary ranges will be adjusted to $35,984 - $62,971 following approval by the State Human Resources Commission.
Applicants must demonstrate:
Minimum education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED and four years of correctional experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification eligibility by the NC Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission is required.
This position requires working mid-shift hours from 12 PM to 9 PM, Monday through Friday.
