Job summary

MEDIKO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for corporate assignments across correctional facilities. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, educate inmates, and coordinate treatment in a regulated, safety‑driven environment.

RN licensure, 1–3 years in healthcare, and CPR/BLS are required. HS diploma or higher is preferred. MEDIKO offers competitive pay, benefits, PTO, and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required.
• 1–3 years healthcare experience preferred, especially in correctional settings.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• High School diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
• Adaptability to multiple correctional facilities and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assessing and planning per policies.
• Conduct initial screenings and ongoing inmate healthcare.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Document assessments and progress in EMR per policy and law.
• Maintain infection control and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health, and correctional staff to ensure quality care.
• Lead and mentor junior staff during shifts and at different sites.
