Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Walker State Prison in Rock Spring, Georgia. The Day Shift position offers 32 hours per week with a schedule that includes Thursdays (9:30 AM–6 PM), plus Saturdays and Sundays (5 AM–5 PM).

You will provide direct nursing care, follow safety and infection control protocols, monitor patients, and collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and custody staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in behavioral health, correctional, or ER.
• Active LPN license (GA or Compact).
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain security clearance via GADOC (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care.
• Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
• Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams; maintain accurate documentation.
