Job summary

Qualifications

• Maintenance Mechanic (Correctional Facility) role with responsibilities for building systems.
• Supervision of incarcerated workers may be required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, maintains, and repairs plumbing, heating, water, steam, and sewer systems; completes electrical maintenance in housing areas.
• Repairs gates, doors, locks, and locking mechanisms; conducts security lock inspections.
• Plans schedules, requisitions materials, reads schematics/blueprints, and guides work crews.
• Performs interior/exterior painting and minor fabrication as directed.
• Submit timesheets, attend meetings, and perform related duties.
