The Ohio State University seeks a Researcher 3 to direct and coordinate support for newly hired career technical teachers across Ohio departments. The role includes classroom visits, observation of instruction, and contribution to workforce development outreach in correctional facilities.

Travel statewide is required; the position emphasizes professional development, licensure support, and collaboration with school districts and higher education entities. One-year, 32 hours/week, part-time.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 3 years with a Master's Degree.
• Knowledge of career-technical teacher credentialing and program standards.
• Experience observing and mentoring career and technical education teachers in classroom and lab settings.

Responsabilités

• Directs and coordinates teacher support for newly hired career technical teachers.
• Provides technical support in curriculum development to comply with policy and ODE CTE standards; serves on Curriculum Development committee.
• Manages the four-year induction system of support and mentoring; conducts face-to-face meetings and tracks progress.
• Develops and evaluates professional development opportunities (workshops, credentialing, conferences, mentor training).
• Liaises with school districts and higher education for licensure coursework and required programs.
