The ideal candidate holds an active NJ RN license, has at least 1 year of clinical experience, and has prior correctional nursing exposure. AHA BLS/CPR certification is preferred and benefits begin from day one.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in New Jersey.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience.
• Willingness to work in a correctional facility environment.
• Able to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate and oversee daily nursing activities and patient care needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
