This position reports to a Correctional Programs Supervisor at a multi-custody female correctional facility and provides case management services to an assigned caseload. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with State Benefits, with working hours of Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Some work beyond normal hours may be required.
Effective January 1, 2025, the salary range will be $35,984 - $62,971, following approved increases.
Current State Employees: The salary grade is NC07. Salary will be recalculated based on education, experience, funding, and internal equity, potentially resulting in a pay increase.
About Anson Correctional Institution: Houses female offenders in medium and close custody; offers educational, vocational, and training programs; operates offender packaging with Prison Industry Enhancement Program (PIE).
Applicants must document knowledge of case management, supportive counseling, or interviewing techniques for intake assessments. Education requirements include an associate degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Recreation, or related fields, OR a high school diploma/GED plus two years of custody experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Necessary: Must be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.
