Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1–2 years NP experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage health care for incarcerated individuals.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate labs and diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and treatments per state regulations and protocols.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD).
• Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and patient education.
