The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a Staff Accountant to handle all accounting functions for assigned Corps or Units and to assist with additional accounting and finance projects.
Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, cash flows, budgeting, and supporting audits. Strong GAAP knowledge and proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office are required.

Education: Accounting degree required. Four-year degree in accounting preferred.
Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed, and all background check results will be reviewed.
Experience: One year experience processing accounts payable, receivables, and bank reconciliations. Experience in not-for-profit accounting a plus.
