Duties
- Handle corporate transactions such as acquisitions, divestitures, equity and debt financings, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
- Provide strategic guidance on various legal matters, managing them effectively from initiation to completion.
- Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated corporate agreements and related documentation.
- Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and stakeholders to address complex legal challenges.
- Maintain high attention to detail and deliver high-quality, timely legal work.
- Uphold ethical standards and foster strong client relationships.
- Contribute to business development efforts through collaborative and individual initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and transactional work.
- Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, proactive work ethic, ability to work independently and in teams.
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where the firm operates.
- Complies with CLE and licensing renewal requirements.
