Job summary

Oranje Commercial Janitorial is seeking a Corporate Trainer (Bilingual English/Spanish) to lead onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training for janitorial staff in Phoenix, AZ. The role is salaried, full-time, and runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with benefits including PTO and 401(k) match.

The Trainer will conduct safety and hands-on cleaning procedure training, review policies, and support recruiting as needed. Strong bilingual communication and tech comfort are essential.

Corporate Trainer (Bilingual English/Spanish) Salaried | $52,000–$58,000 per year Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Benefits + PTO + 401(k) Match

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Onboarding & Orientation -Welcome new hires and review the Oranje Welcome Packet, company expectations, policies, and employee programs.
• Help new hires access and complete required onboarding forms in Paychex.
• Guide employees through required job-specific training videos.
• Safety & Hands-On Training -Lead workplace and janitorial safety training in English and Spanish, including safe chemical handling.
• Teach commercial cleaning procedures, including sweeping and mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, trash removal, dusting and surface cleaning, proper chemical use, and the correct use and care of cleaning equipment and tools. Observe employees performing cleaning tasks and give coaching or additional training where needed.
• Records & Follow-Up -Keep accurate training attendance and completion records.
• Communicate training concerns and additional training needs to HR and Operations.
• Lead refresher training for current employees as needed.
• Support the Recruiting Team as needed.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Comfortable teaching both individuals and groups.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and online training systems.
• Professional, dependable, and patient, with the ability to work well with people of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or a related field.
• Previous training, supervisory, lead, or onboarding experience.

Physical Requirements

• Able to demonstrate janitorial tasks, including bending, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
