The Recruiting Hive seeks a hands-on Tax Manager to own our income tax function, lead quarterly and annual ASC 740 provisions, and oversee return preparation with internal staff and external preparers. You will coach a team of tax accountants, drive process design and controls, respond to tax notices, and collaborate with internal and external auditors to continuously improve efficiency and service levels.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting, 6+ years tax experience, advanced Excel

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate environment.
• Strong federal, state, and local tax knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• CPA, Master's in Taxation, or experience in manufacturing/retail/insurance/m mortgage (plus).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop tax accountants through coaching, supervision, and feedback.
• Own the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision.
• Oversee federal and state income tax return calculations and filings.
• Review FIN 48 and UNICAP positions.
• Respond to notices and inquiries from taxing authorities.
• Work with internal and external auditors.
• Research and deliver tax information requested by management and outside parties.
• Support related areas including sales tax, property tax, payroll tax, and incentives.
• Map, document, and re-engineer tax processes to improve efficiency, controls, and metrics.
