Job summary

Arconic is offering an internship in the Corporate Tax department to provide a hands-on learning experience. You will assist with preparing tax returns, including Sales & Use, as well as Federal, State, and International income, under guidance of tax professionals.

Attend orientation, receive area-specific training, and work on real responsibilities alongside our tax professionals, with strong emphasis on growth and learning in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting.
• Expected graduation late Fall 2027, Spring/Summer 2028, or Spring/Summer 2029.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• The purpose of the Internship Program is to introduce students to Arconic through a challenging and rewarding experience in the corporate tax department by assisting with the preparation of tax returns, including Sales & Use; and Federal, State, and International income.
• The candidate will have the opportunity to assist with monthly tax accounting duties, including loading trial balance data and analyzing book-to-tax differences, and other department projects as necessary.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
• Must have an expected graduation date in late Fall 2027, Spring/Summer of 2028, or, Spring/Summer of 2029.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess strong leadership competencies, and strong team and analytical skills; strategic thinking skills; dedication and enthusiasm for work in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, especially as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Excel is required, along with an overall level of expertise in MS Office environments.
• Involvement with one or more extracurricular activities, work-study or off-campus jobs, and/or volunteer positions.
