The Corporate Tax Director will lead our global tax function in all areas including domestic/foreign tax planning and research, compliance with domestic/foreign tax laws and compliance with ASC 740. This role will work closely with our business units, corporate Treasury and business development, including tax planning around potential mergers and acquisitions

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the tax compliance functions including timely and accurate filing of all Federal and State income tax returns.
• Provide tax planning and research on the company’s strategic transactions and lead tax research projects.
• Research and analyze proposed law changes.
• Coordinate tax audits and administration; providing support to the IRS or foreign tax authorities, as necessary.
• Lead the company’s tax modeling process for the corporate planning function.
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax footnotes and disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain an effective internal control environment; and ensuring that Sarbanes Oxley documentation is updated as appropriate.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years public accounting or corporate tax experience. Familiarity with income tax reporting and disclosures under ASC 740 for public companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, MBA or CPA preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products and ability to create and manipulate Excel documents. SAP, Sage FAS, OneSource, and Hyperion knowledge a plus.
• Skilled in advanced mathematical problem solving and capable of performing complex mathematical analyses.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex tax-related information to management and other stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to quickly assimilate oral and written data, analyze facts, and draw logical conclusions.
• Strong leadership and management skills, including collaboration across functions.
