Corporate Tax Attorney | AV-Rated Law Firm | Orlando, FL (Hybrid)

Lead a Tax practice, inherit a portable book, and work deals from beginning to end, not just on an ad hoc basis.

Our client is a prominent, AV-rated law firm located in Orlando, Florida, and they are seeking qualified attorneys for their Corporate Tax practice. This is a chance to go beyond occasional tax advice. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in corporate matters from beginning to end. The position will also provide the opportunity to lead the Tax practice and inherit a portable book of clients.

What You'll Advise On

This attorney will counsel both foreign and domestic companies on a range of corporate tax matters, including:

• Structuring tax-advantaged deals
• Formation, operation, and restructuring of entities like partnerships, S corps, and REITs
• Tax credit opportunities in a variety of sectors
• Buy-side and sell-side corporate, LLC, and partnership acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, and restructurings
• Other M&A activities
• Periodic general corporate counseling

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Corporate Tax law
• Experience performing corporate tax work in a law firm or boutique tax firm setting
• Excellent academic credentials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Admission to the Florida Bar, required within a reasonable period of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• An LLM in Taxation would be an asset but is not required
• Employment type: Full-time
• Salary: $200k - $400k, depending on experience
