Job summary

Owens Corning seeks a Corporate Strategy Leader to shape long-term growth by leading high-impact strategic initiatives across the enterprise. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • MBA or other advanced business degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business analysis, finance, corporate development, or a related field.
  • Experience developing strategic recommendations through market analysis, financial analysis, and structured problem-solving.
  • Strong financial acumen, including the ability to analyze financial statements and develop financial models.
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and communicating complex business concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Experience leading or participating in cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to influence decisions and drive alignment in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15-20%, including domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support strategic projects that influence enterprise growth, portfolio decisions, and long-term business performance.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop, challenge, and refine business and enterprise strategies.
  • Conduct market, competitive, customer, and industry analyses to identify growth opportunities and strategic risks.
  • Develop fact-based recommendations by leveraging strategic frameworks, data analysis, financial modeling, and market insights.
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to evaluate and address complex strategic questions across businesses, functions, and regions.
  • Support development and execution of Owens Corning's long-range planning and corporate strategy processes.
  • Build compelling presentations, financial analyses, and business cases that influence executive decision-making.
  • Evaluate organic growth opportunities through market research, financial analysis, customer insights, and strategic assessments.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize growth initiatives, allocate resources, and support successful execution.
  • Support the development of operating mechanisms that provide visibility into growth opportunities, execution plans, and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Development and Integration teams on strategic and merger and acquisition initiatives.
  • Support commercial due diligence activities, including market assessments, competitive analysis, customer evaluations, and financial reviews.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support portfolio optimization, capital allocation, and corporate development activities.
  • Lead and support high-priority special projects on behalf of executive leadership, including transformation initiatives, digital strategy, business optimization efforts, and other enterprise priorities.
  • Drive strategic thinking by bringing external perspectives, market intelligence, and industry insights into business discussions.
  • Apply project management discipline to ensure initiatives are executed effectively and key milestones are achieved.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and serve as a trusted advisor on strategic and analytical matters.

As a Corporate Strategy Leader, you will play a key role in shaping Owens Corning's long-term growth agenda by leading and supporting high-impact strategic initiatives across the enterprise. This highly visible role partners closely with business leadership, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to evaluate growth opportunities, influence strategic direction, and support both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.

You will leverage strategic thinking, financial analysis, market insights, and collaborative problem-solving to help Owens Corning identify opportunities, make informed investment decisions, and execute against its long-range objectives. What You Will Be Doing:
