Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts seeks a Corporate Senior Director of Catering & Conference Services to lead banquet operations, catering, and convention services across its portfolio. The role drives revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence while aligning with ownership groups and leadership teams.

The position requires travel averaging 50% and involves developing portfolio-wide strategies, standards, and digital merchandising to maximize performance and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive catering, convention services and hotel sales leadership experience.
• Multi-property catering and convention service leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience with major hotel brands preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading high-performing catering, convention services and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the banquet, catering, and convention services functions across the hotel portfolio.
• Develop and execute portfolio-wide strategies that maximize banquet and catering revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with Regional VPs, Enterprise Sales Leaders, General Managers, Directors of Sales & Marketing to improve commercial performance and achieve revenue goals.
• Lead, coach, and mentor Directors of Catering, Catering Sales Managers, Convention Services leaders, and property sales teams.
• Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate production, booking pace, conversion, profitability, forecasting, and opportunities.
