Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant to support the monthly close, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and load financial data into EPM systems.

The role also handles internal and external reporting, assists with audits and internal controls, and supports commission calculations and payments. A Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and strong GAAP knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and automated accounting systems
• ERP system experience required; JDE E1 a plus
• EPM experience preferred
• Strong computer and systems skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly close duties including journal entries, reconciliations, and EPM data loads
• Manage commission reports and payments, including agreement review, calculations, and approvals
• Prepare internal and external financial reports
• Assist in maintaining internal controls
• Support external and internal audit processes
• Contribute to financial projects and process improvements
