Bossier Chamber of Commerce is offering an entrepreneurial, commission-based internship in sports marketing and sponsorship sales. You will identify local businesses, pitch sponsorships, and close deals with a 20% commission on every sponsorship you secure.

You'll gain real-world sales experience, build a client portfolio, and potentially earn internship credit through your university while developing a professional network in the Ark-La-Tex region.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in a related field.
• Strong communication, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously.
• Willingness to hustle, cold-call, network, and close deals.
• Connections to North Louisiana/Ark-La-Tex business landscape are a plus.

Responsabilités

What You’ll Do

• Generate Leads: Identify, contact, and pitch local Bossier City/Shreveport businesses to secure corporate sponsorships.
• Sell Packages: Pitch high-visibility inventory including on-field fence banners at Freedom Fields and group ticket packages.
• Build Relationships: Represent the NLFA professionally to the Ark-La-Tex business community.
• Manage Pipeline: Track your client outreach and maintain your own sales pipeline.

What You’ll Need

• Currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, a high level of self-motivation, and the ability to work autonomously.
• A "hustle" mentality comfortable with cold-calling, networking, and closing deals.
• Connections or familiarity with the North Louisiana/Ark-La-Tex business landscape is a major plus.
