Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Corporate Security Specialist Officer to provide physical security at assigned corporate offices, ensuring protection of employees, visitors, property, and equipment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card required; licensing may be required by state/local law.
• Minimum one year of contract or proprietary security experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Intermediate computer navigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Watch for irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergencies.
• Contact Shift Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or Security Manager immediately in the event of an incident or emergency.
• Remain alert for unauthorized persons or policy violators; approaches suspicious persons and notifies police as appropriate.
• Patrol assigned areas to ensure personnel, building, and equipment security.
• Prepare routine, standardized reports; provide escorts as necessary.
• May provide specialized security in complex operating areas.
• Perform periodic checks of fire extinguishers, AEDs, and lights; report malfunctions.
