Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Wilton, CT is seeking a Security Officer to provide safety at a corporate client site. You will monitor access, perform patrols, and respond to incidents, while delivering courteous service to employees and visitors.

This role requires the ability to stand and walk for long periods and to pass background screening; a high school diploma is required, and licensing may be applicable. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, pay rate $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Must meet state/local licensing requirements for security officers, if applicable.
• Must be able to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Access control & reception support: monitor entry/exit and verify badges/IDs.
• Patrols & safety checks: interior and perimeter patrols; report hazards.
• Incident response & reporting: respond to alarms and document incidents.
• Customer service: assist employees/visitors with directions and information.
• Compliance & procedures: follow post orders and health and safety rules.
